I am a sociologist studying social processes in cultural and organizational contexts using digital trace data and computational methods. Most of my work centers around the measurement, analysis, and theorization of new cultural forms. In my main project, I examine community formation in Hollywood and analyze the social and symbolic networks of filmmakers throughout 70 years of film history.

I am currently a Postdoctoral Researcher in Sociology at the University of Bremen. I hold a Ph.D. from the Graduate School of Economic and Social Sciences at the University of Mannheim. From September 2021 until April 2022, I was a visiting scholar at Columbia University.
